Dear Colleagues,

We are delighted to welcome you to the 9th ERPA Annual Summit on Regulations and Compliance for Cosmetics (CRCC2025), taking place on 24-25 February 2025 in Brussels, Belgium.

Organized under the auspices of the European Responsible Person Association (ERPA), this summit continues to play a pivotal role in fostering dialogue and knowledge-sharing within the cosmetics industry. ERPA’s mission is to support compliance and safety by guiding industry professionals in navigating the complex regulatory frameworks that safeguard consumers while promoting innovation. As an active member of EU-level working groups, ERPA also collaborates closely with regulatory authorities to shape policies that ensure a responsible and sustainable future for cosmetics.

This year’s program reflects the dynamic regulatory environment, with a strong focus on adapting to the European Commission’s evolving priorities. From the EU Green Deal and the Chemicals Strategy for Sustainability to increasing demands for transparency, sustainability, and consumer protection, the cosmetics industry faces challenges that require agility, foresight, and collaboration. Key sessions will address topics such as:

  • Impactful Regulatory Updates
  • Sun Protection Factor (SPF)
  • Worldwide Impact on Labelling and Claims
  • Regulatory Enforcement
  • New Approach Methodologies (NAM) & New Generation Risk Assessments (NGRA)
  • Chemical Hazards
  • Nanocosmetics

These discussions will highlight not only the regulatory changes ahead but also the opportunities for responsible innovation in alignment with environmental and sustainability goals.

CRCC2025 serves as a vital platform for Responsible Persons, Regulatory Affairs Specialists, Safety Assessors, QA personnel, and other industry professionals to deepen their understanding of compliance while engaging with peers and key stakeholders. Together, we can ensure that the cosmetics industry continues to thrive within an ever-changing regulatory and environmental landscape.

We look forward to seeing you in Brussels for an engaging and insightful exchange of ideas.

Sincerely,

SANDRA FERRETTI
CONGRESS Chair
